Cluichí Deireannacha| Recent Games Wrap

The seniors met Naomh Éanna Gleann Ghormlaithe (St Enda's, Glengormley) at Clochóg in the Antrim ACHL3 last Tues evening (27/08/2013) and lost 2-11 to 3-14. It was a tight game but Naomh Éanna were able to keep their noses in front
throughout. Several second-half missed goal chances spurned NCC's hopes of winning. The Cilles have 4 games remaining 3 away to Na Magha Dhoire, Naomh Treasa Bhéal Feirste, and Cushendun as well as a crucial home game
against fellow strugglers Glenravel Con Magees.

The minors, appearing in the Cilles 4th championship final at this grade, were beaten 1-20 to 0-5 by Dún Geanainn Eoghain Ruadh at a sunny, breezy, high standard Pomeroy ballpark last Friday night (30/08/13).
The hamstrung Jack Ryan was outstanding in goals and the young Cilles did put in an honest effort against opponents with that critical extra handful of older, fitter, more skilled hurlers. Attendance at the game was
around 150 souls and the NCC team and management for the record were: 1. Jack Ryan 2. Seán Armstrong 3. Colm O'Hagan 4. Dan Talbot 5. Mícheál Corr 6. Andrew Byrne 7. Jarlath Canavan 8. SeánCaio Corr 9. Rory O'Hagan
10. Ciarán McNulty 11. Dan Armstrong 12.Caolán Corr 13. Tony O Donnell 14. Jack Fee 15. Seán Timlin. Fir Ionaid: Michael Murray for 11inj, Joe Hughes for 13, Tighearnan Daly for 14, Seán Forker, Ciarán Campbell, Eoin Robinson. Bainisteoirí: Tommy Nixon,
Colm Morgan, Mickey O'Neill (HW), Cathaoir Corr. Lean oraibhse níos díograisí a bhuachaillí agus tiocfaidh na laethanta chugaibh.
