Cycling advice 13 from 'The Master':
N.C.C.C.C 13

If you met last week's challenge and cycled 50 miles, then you are well on the way to success. If on the otherhand you didn't find the time nor the inspiration, then stop deluding yourself and get it done a.s.a.p. Remember "the road to failure is paved with good intentions". Good, solid preparation is the key , and that is what we are about.

Assuming you've completed the 50 mile challenge, "congratulations". It has been a hard earned congratulations, but you deserve it.

To let your body fully recover from the 50, we will not push the distance this week; but do not reduce the frequency. It is important that you get out at least twice or thrice every week. For your main cycle, focus on a 35 - 40 mile reasonably flat circuit where you can spin the legs without sapping too much energy. Remember this is a recovery spin, try to arrive home 'smiling' and not ' shattered'.

Mike O'Gorman, Chris Cross & Eric Kirwan were on the Tyrone senior team that lifted the NHL 3B title on Sunday. They emerged 1 point winners in a tight game with Liatroim in Sligo. Comhghairdeas libh go léir.

Dúirt siad:
'Can I eat my lunch now?' - halfway through u8 teamtalk in the second blitz game, one of the wee ones was feeling peckish.
