Na Sinsir (Seniors)
The game v Down's Liatroim Fontenoys in Clochóg fixed for this Sat May 24 at 4pm is being rescheduled due to Tír Eoghains Nicky Rackard Cup semi-final. Our next definite game is Sat week 31 May 2014 at home to Pearse Óg from Louth at 4pm.

Faoi 16 | U16

The U16s defeated Ceapach 3-15 to 1-4 in the championship semi-final last Fri night at Garvaghy. It wasn't all plain sailing as Ceapach put up a strong show in the first half, the Cilles managing a 1-7 to 1-2 half-time lead but not hurling with conviction. A change was seen after the half-time grilling and they found their rhythm to book a final place against Dún Geanainn this Thurs night 22 May at 7.30pm. Keep an eye on club social media for venue details. Good luck to the lads. Dubh is Dearg abú!

Faoi 14 | U14

A very young U14 squad begin their league campaign last night (Mon 19 May) in Clochóg. Although well beaten at the end, they hurled to the finish.

Dúirt siad: (durch shade) (they said:)
"It must be hard trying to keep hurling going in Tyrone. Why do yis bother?" a genuine, honest question from a fitness professional outside local supermarket.
" Love the game, love the club - pity GAA is so unfairly structured at level above clubs - hurling and football. But that's life". Honest answer from club volunteer coming out with his groceries.

Fo-chumann CLG NCC extends its deepest condolences to the O'Hanlon family, Derrykiltinagh, Derrytresk on the sudden passing of Vinnie. One of the great local characters, Vinnie will be fondly remembered in our club for his side-splitting yarns and jokes at the Cilles Storytelling nights. A Hillman to the backbone, with a passion and deep love for the Irish Language, he'll be sorely missed in local cultural circles. Go ndéana Dia a mhaith air.
